Because each piece is handmade and I am seeking an organic look and feel to my pottery, no two pieces are the same.  However, if you do not see a color you like in my Etsy shop or you have a special order, email me to discuss other options.

My pottery is made from stoneware or porcelain.  I throw each vessel on a potters wheel and alter it when still wet. I use this technique as a way to keep my pots feeling fresh and moving. Over the last year I have been returning to high fire methods such as wood and gas firing, but still occasionally fire in an electric kiln to cone 6, depending on how much time I have and how interested I am in the uncertainty of the results. 

I make pots that want to be touched.  It was the tactile nature of pottery and clay that drew me to the medium and I want that feeling to be evident in my marks and process.
